About the Position: Incumbent plans and accomplishes a variety of contract administration and quality assurance work in support of Operations & Maintenance, recreation resource management, natural resource management, and engineering work performed by contracts at a Lake Field Office.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative, designated point-of-contact with contractors for numerous service, construction, and supply contracts at the Lake Field Office.
- →Coordinates and directs the work of General Schedule (GS) and Wage Grade (WG) employees performing quality assurance inspections.
- →Conducts pre-work conferences with contractors to discuss and explain all contract requirements and clauses and resolve all questions concerning contract requirements.
- →Ensures quality and timely work performance is provided by the contractor.
- →Prepare progress reports and reviews contractor invoices for payment to ensure adequacy and progress of work commensurate with payment requested and recommends approval or disapproval.
