About the Position: This position performs purchasing and ordering duties for supplies, materials, equipment, and services in support of facility operations. The incumbent prepares and reviews purchase requests, coordinates with vendors and customers, and assists with resolving purchasing and payment issues.
What You'll Do
- →Prepare and review purchase requisitions, ensuring required documentation, specifications, justifications, approvals, and funding information are complete.
- →Place orders for supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and services using established Federal purchasing methods and automated systems.
- →Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, and contracting personnel to obtain pricing, resolve purchasing issues, and ensure timely delivery.
- →Review invoices, purchase card transactions, and payment documentation; reconciles accounts and resolves billing, shortage, or delivery discrepancies.
- →Provide contract administration support by monitoring service contracts, assisting with modifications and payments, and coordinating with Contracting Officer’s Representatives.
