What You'll Do
- →You will conduct comprehensive cost analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities such as operational efficiencies, procurement adjustments, or technological enhancements.
- →You will develop and implement cost optimization strategies and initiatives.
- →You will prepare and present detailed cost analysis reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- →You will utilize advanced data analysis techniques and modeling tools such as Python, R, or SAS to analyze complex data sets related to cost and financial performance.
- →You will develop and maintain cost models, forecasting tools, and simulation models to support decision-making.
- →You will lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and data engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development opportunities such as training sessions and career path planning.
Requirements
- ✓At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
- ✓Courses acceptable for qualifying for operations research positions may have been taken in departments other than Operations Research, e.g., Engineering (usually Industrial Engineering), Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Management Science.
