About the Role
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the FORT MEADE, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts comprehensive, multi-variable cost analyses of sustainment capabilities-including IT infrastructure, training, facilities, and contractor support.
- →Acts as the final technical authority on the validity of the mathematical models, statistical processes, and Al-enabled tools used for assigned portfolio areas.
- →Evaluates joint cyberspace operations and capabilities, driving data-informed resource allocation decisions despite conflicting data, shifting geopolitical requirements, or extreme uncertainty in the joint operational environment.
- →Empowers senior command leadership (General/Flag Officers and Senior Executive Service members) with actionable insights required for rapid, strategic, and enterprise-level decision-making.
- →Transforms complex financial, manpower, training, and operational data into intuitive visualizations, establishing new analytical standards that communicate critical assessments.
- →Resolves unprecedented resource allocation challenges across the organization and its subordinate elements by developing new methodologies to measure cost-effectiveness and operational impact/risk.
