This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the US Army 1st Special Forces CMD HQ, 95th CA BDE Fort Bragg, NC
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to maximize Soldier performance and improve unit readiness.
- →Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide direct OT and consultative services for the H2F mental readiness program.
- →Address psychosocial, cognitive, physical, occupational, and environmental barriers and opportunities to prevent injury, mitigate injury risk, and facilitate rapid return to duty following injury.
- →Evaluate and provide solutions addressing physical readiness factors that impact Soldier performance (e.g. pushing and pulling movements, shooting, gripping and carrying load).
- →Liaises with the H2F team, leadership, and the installation's military treatment facility (MTF) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Surgical and Rehabilitative Services, Behavioral Health, Radiology, and Orthopedic services.
- →Gather H2F program data and creates unit readiness reports to identify effectiveness of H2F program against established metrics.
