About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of nursing Mixed Med/Surg Unit with Pediatrics, Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Takes accurate vital signs (i.e. blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature) and other required measurements (i.e. height, weight, etc.).
- →Assists with providing emotional, physical comfort and safety needs of patients.
- →Prepares patients and rooms for examinations and diagnostic tests; assists/chaperones patient care providers during examinations, procedures, treatments and diagnostic tests Performs routine procedures in accordance with established standard operating procedures or physician’s instructions, blood pressure screenings, ear irrigation's, etc.
- →Records data on clinical records in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
