What You'll Do
- →Responsible for guiding and directing the patient care services provided to inmates assigned to various specialty clinics such as the Urology, Surgical, EENT, Orthopedic, OB-GYN, Neurology, and Mental Health specialty clinics conducted by primary care provider teams (PCPT) as well as external contract medical specialists performing on-site services.
- →Coordinates and provides patient care/clinical support.
- →Responsible for scheduling the outpatient clinics, serving as the contact person for communication relating to external contract medical specialists, which include gathering pre-clinic health information, receiving after-care reports, and scheduling related diagnostic testing.
- →Assists with the development and implementation of policies and programs related to specialty clinics.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
