About the Role
The Revenue Utilization Review (RUR) Nurse Clinical Trainer is responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise for the sustainment of the CPAC's Revenue Utilization Review functional area through continuous improvement and learning. The incumbent will be one of two primary trainers for all new RUR nurses assigned to the CPAC's. The RUR Clinical Nurse Trainer develops and delivers training and education programs for the RUR nurses.
What You'll Do
- →Participates in allocating resources (including funds, staff, equipment, time) in accordance with organizational priorities and budget planning * Independently plans and conduct validity and reliability studies to analyze RUR course effectiveness.
- →This includes producing complete, self-contained training products and methods based on analyses and studies and research. * Uses a body of research to validate and/or change practice, knowledge, and revenue cycle clinical processes.
- →This Committee also performs peer review for SC/SA validations and plans educational offerings for RUR nurses and Program Support Assistants.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
