What You'll Do
- →This position is located in the Health Services Department at the FCC Butner, North Carolina.
- →Responsible for providing a full range of nursing services to include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the medical condition of the inmate patients.
- →Provides information to the health care team members and contributes to the maintenance or restoration of health status.
- →May serve as a lead nurse in providing direction and guidance to RNs or other medical staff in coordinating the delivery of patient care.
- →Responsible for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of patients care, and ensuring that nursing standards are met on a consistent basis.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
- ✓Career Transition Programs (CTAP or ICTAP): These programs apply to Federal and/or DOJ employees who meet the definition of surplus or displaced from a position in the competitive service.
