About the Role
About the Position: This position is located with the 96th Medical Group, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Recruitment or relocation incentive MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Student loan repayment MAY be authorized Salary negotiation MAY be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced leave accrual MAY be authorized. Advanced in hire MAY be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients and their newborn.
- →Set up and operates specialized monitoring equipment.
- →Assign duties and delegates patient care to other registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, operating room technicians, and medical assistants.
- →Provide perioperative care to include serving as the circulating RN for cesarean sections and additional obstetric surgical procedures.
- →Coordinate patient education activities; ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- →Perform procedures, treatments, and medication administration.
