About the Role
About the Position: This is a Nurse (Clinical) position with Camp Lejeune located in Onslow, North Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.
- →Independently perform direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care.
- →Assist clinicians with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.
- →Initiates and maintains medical history on patients, records observations and stated symptoms for use by the clinician.
- →Initiate emergency care as needed and assembles, operates, and monitors specialized equipment.
- →Ensures administrative requirements related to patient's visits are completed timely and correctly.
