About the Role
About the Position: This is a Nurse (Clinical) Position with Navy Hospital Pensacola located in Naval Air Station, Florida This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit andappoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Performs direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.
- →Conducts an assessment and a thorough evaluation through physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic test.
- →Identifies disease or conditions based on assessment findings and diagnostic results.
- →Assists clinicians with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.
- →Identifies the need for specialist care, additional services, and coordinate referrals to appropriate health care providers.
- →Tracks patient's laboratory, radiology, and referral results to completion and tracks at-risk patients by following the plan of care and assisting in making future appointments.
- →Resolve clinical issues that arise during patient care, ensuring continuity or quality of care.
- →Ensures administrative requirements related to patient’s visit are completed timely and correctly.
- →Collaborates with the clinic manager and/ or department head to assist in directing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating activities related to the delivery of ambulatory nursing care.
