About the Position : This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland at Edgewood Occupational Health Clinic. Hours : Monday- Friday 0730-1630. Alternative work schedule available. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, and implementation of treatment plan.
- →Assess and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- →Initiate treatment for potential health hazards compassing a broad spectrum including chemical (industrial), chemical toxic agents (Surety/military) agents.
- →Conduct screening tests such as vision tests, audiometry and spirometry.
- →Educate employees on occupational health topics.
- →Document clinical encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
- →Provide acute trauma care and manage hazardous exposure cases.
