About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive professional nursing care in a clinic setting through face-to-face encounters or via telecommunications technology.
- →Perform nursing triage to determine the appropriate level of care.
- →Assess and manage acute and episodic healthcare concerns.
- →Perform procedures such as visual acuity tests, glucose monitoring, wound care, etc.
- →Utilize analytical thinking and critical decision making prior to treatment based on knowledge of effects and current condition of the patient.
- →Provide pre- and post-procedural education.
- →Provide health education to patients and/or family members/caregivers.
- →Provide oversight and mentorship to paraprofessional and newly assigned staff.
