About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
What You'll Do
- →Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional 1.
- →Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) duties include, but are not limited to, administering, under the direction of a physician, both diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications; performing QC on nuclear medicine cameras and equipment; and instructing patients before, during, and following procedures.
- →You will acquire, process, and transfer the imaging study for review by the Nuclear Medicine physician. 2.
- →The selected incumbent will also hold the position of Associate Radiation Safety Officer (ARSO) with additional duties as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- →The Associate Radiation Safety Officer (ASRSO)/Nuclear Medicine Technologist assists the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) with radiation safety program duties across 9 facilities/300 employees, and performs nuclear medicine procedures as needed.
