About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • Provide overall direction, administrative management, and coordination for the NPSP and staff.
  • Oversee establishment and maintenance of policies and procedures, quality assurance, data collection and analysis, marketing and staff training for new parent educational and support programs that foster skill development, aid in the prevention of child abuse, and promote good mental health.
  • Oversee development of parent education programs to: foster skill development in promoting positive parent-child attachment behavior, aid in prevention of child abuse, promote good mental health, and enhance strengths that individual (s) and families bring to the parenting role.
  • Oversee assessments of families receiving services and collaborate with related agencies to offer appropriate and necessary early intervention services to families at risk.
  • Ensures any curriculum developed or implemented at a local level is submitted to the Headquarters Marine Corps curriculum review committee and approved prior to implementation.
  • Develop and implement program marketing plans.
  • Determine short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with other organizations to accomplish goals.
  • Identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information, and use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations to improve programming.
  • Establish methods and tools to conduct risk assessment and mitigation of risk.
  • Ensure staff practice within scope of program design.
  • Develop and analyze data to be used in preparing analytical and interpretative reports and guides of program operation.
  • Formulate, administer, and monitor the operating budget for the program area.
  • Identify cost centers.
