Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Blaine Sector, Mission Readiness Operations. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position uses your knowledge and experience to plan and carry out a variety of mission support, workforce management, administrative research and program planning related to the missions and functions of Mission Readiness Operations.
- →This position starts at a salary of $83,935.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $130,786.00 (GS-12, Step 10) .
- →The Mission Support Specialist (Workforce Management) provides a wide range of administrative programs, concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods to address technical issues or problems that contain several interrelated issues in workforce management.
- →Duties and responsibilities include: Processing personnel-related actions including promotions, reassignments, or changes in working conditions.
- →Assisting supervisors with managing base pay, premium pay, overtime and leave administration.
- →Researching and analyzing data to make recommendations and resolve problems including complaints, grievances, and arbitrations.
- →Preparing briefs, project papers, reports and memos involving personnel issues to foster understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- →Identifying, evaluating, and recommending appropriate human resource interventions to resolve complex interrelated human resources problems and issues.

Requirements
