Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations - New Orleans Field Office, New Orleans, LA. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In this position, you will strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by becoming a valuable member of a team of administrative professionals.
- →This position starts at a salary of $74,678.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $97,087.00 (GS-11, Step 10).
- →Your job will include: Performing assignments requiring the application of fundamental principles, concepts, techniques, and guidelines in an administrative specialty area(s).
- →Conducting detailed planning to gather and interpret information and data for complex problems, issues, and unusual circumstances.
- →Identifying ways to improve or enhance current services and to ensure that such services meet management's business objectives.
- →Analyzing the effects of changes in laws and regulations as they pertain to administrative specialty areas.
- →Identifying and clarifying problems in order to propose recommendations to management.
