Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Boston Field Office located in the following locations: Area Port of Portland, ME, Calais, ME Area Port of Portland, ME, Houlton, ME Area Port of Portland, ME, Jackman, ME
What You'll Do
- →As a Mission Support Specialist, you will use your expertise in administration to provide advisory and technical services to CBP management.
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to protect the homeland by analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures.
- →This position starts at a salary of $40,736.00 (GS-5, Step 1) to $52,957.00 (GS-9, Step 10) with promotion potential to $80,243 (GS-9 Step 10).
- →Salary listed reflects the rest of U.S. scale and, if applicable, will be adjusted to meet the locality pay or cost of living expenses of the duty location upon selection.

- →These are the major duties of the position, which focus on providing management advisory services and conducting detailed analyses to support organizational objectives: Performing management advisory services for specific requests related to immediate problems of limited scope.
