Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Boston Field Office, Logan Airport Division, located in Boston, MA Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

- →In this Mission Support Specialist role, you will become a key team member of homeland security professionals involved in planning and carrying out a wide variety of administrative management and program planning activities.
- →This position starts at a salary of $84,579.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $131,790.00 (GS-12, Step 10).

- →As a Mission Support Specialist, you will carry out a wide variety of mission support, workforce management, supply, inventory, fleet, budget, procurement, records management, payroll, travel, administrative research, logistics, and other program planning activities.
- →Typical work assignments include: Participates in and makes contributions to management decisions in assigned program areas.
- →Applies a wide range of administration program concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical/diagnostic methods and techniques to address substantive technical issues or problems characterized by complex, controversial, and/or sensitive matters that contain several interrelated issues.
- →Provides comprehensive advisory and technical services on substantive organizational functions and work practices.
- →Develops new or modified administrative program work methods, approaches, or procedures for delivering effective services to customers.
