About the Position: This position is located at 10TH Medical Group Air Force Academy, Colorado This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Verify proper patient preparation for tests requested by the provider, e.g., fasting, special diet, medications, etc., as well as appropriate sample collection procedure and sample transport requirements.
- →Collect blood samples from inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients using aseptic techniques.
- →Collect body fluid and other samples for testing.
- →Receive and interpret laboratory request slips and reviews them for required information.
- →Utilize safety and infection control practices and procedures following established rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
