About the Role
About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico Resource Management Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
What You'll Do
- →Perform receptionist, record keeping, and clerical duties within the ambulatory care setting.
- →Enter, update, and retrieve information from automated systems relevant to the assigned area.
- →Complete patient order request forms, both manual and electronic.
- →Maintain patient appointment schedules.
- →Coordinate patient appointments with other clinics as needed.
- →Manage the clinic’s messaging system, relaying messages and redirecting calls appropriately.
- →Verify patient eligibility for care and contact Patient Administration for confirmation when required.
- →Provide patients and family members with information on hospital policies and procedures.
- →Resolve routine administrative complaints and refer more complex issues to the appropriate authorities.
- →Maintain patient records—both electronic and paper—in accordance with regulations.
- →Ensure patients complete all required forms prior to their provider visit.
