About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA Directorate of Medicine, Optometry Department. Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advance Leave Accrual MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary Negotiation MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, record keeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the ambulatory setting.
- →Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact, in person or telephonically.
- →Maintain all patients' records, both electronic and paper, according to regulation ensuring each entry contains proper patient and health care provider identification.
- →Perform clerical duties inherent to the in processing (reception), care and out processing(transition) of outpatients, families/caregivers and guests.
