About the Position: This position is located within the Orthopedic Surgery department at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Perform the full range of receptionist, recordkeeping and miscellaneous clerical duties within the MTF.
- →Monitor and communicate delays in scheduled care to the appropriate staff and patients.
- →Ensure the patient completes all necessary forms prior to receiving care.
- →Perform clerical duties inherent to the in-processing (reception/admission), care and out processing (transition/discharge) of patients, families/caregivers and guests.
- →Respond to emergency calls and notifies emergency medical personnel.
