About the Position: This position is at the Naval Health Clinic, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Account for and process surgical instruments, to include complex loaner sets for scheduled cases, emergent cases, and clinic/ward instrumentation.
- →Visually inspect required instruments for cleanliness, sings of damage, deterioration, imperfection, rust, pitting, and cracks.
- →Determine proper sterilization procedures, by various methods and cycles, for different types of items.
- →Conduct inventory of sterilized trays and checks package integrity and expiration dates.
- →Document shortages of instruments and other sterile supplies according to organization policy and guidelines
