About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a medical records technician performingrecords work concerned with reviewing, analyzing, processing, and maintaining medical records;compiling or extracting medical records data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;and performing a variety of related duties. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Reviews and analyzes medical records.
- →Releases medical information Initiates, maintains medical records in accordance with prescribed directives.
- →Plans, organizes and accomplishes the review of medical records.
- →Reviews medical records for proper and complete documentation and appropriateness of data upon receipt of the medical record and prior to shipping the medical record for retirement/separation or permanent change of station.
- →Files results of treatments such as laboratory reports and a variety of medical tests and radiology results.
- →Makes patient charts available for medical appointments Performs a variety of miscellaneous support duties in support of the care and treatment provided for patients.
