This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as the Master, Tender of diesel-powered towboats that are used to tend the floating plant in the fleet, assemble tows, move crane barges, and push tows in support of the Dredge Potter and its mission.
What You'll Do
- →Maintain daily log(s) of vessel operations.
- →Prepare accurate service records for vessel maintenance.
- →Replenish fuels, lubricants, and/or other supplies on the vessel.
- →Operate small towing vessels and/or a large crew boat.
