About the Role
You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the MECHANICAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will inspect assigned work sites for preventive maintenance, intimates appropriate corrective action.
- →You will recommend new machines, tools, and the relocation of equipment.
- →You will be responsible for initiation of Nuclear Work Permits.
- →You will review work documents for adequacy and coordinate any needed changes in work procedures with shop and technical codes.
