You will serve as a Branch Head in the Expeditionary & Developmental Power and Energy Branch (Code 635) of CARDEROCK DIV NS.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage numerous projects, people and facilities related to power source materials technology areas.
- →You will serve as Department/Navy expert, advisor and consultant in electrochemical power source research, development, test and evaluation for military applications.
- →You will provide the strategy for the design, characterization, processing, and testing of new or improved Lithium-ion power source technologies.
- →You will provide advice, consultation, and reviewing services to all levels of Carderock Division management and technical personnel.
- →You will plan, direct, and manage a wide range of projects for the analysis, design, development, safety testing, evaluation, and maintenance of Li-ion power sources and expeditionary power generation systems.
- →You will develop and implement in-house instructional programs to advance the expertise of branch personnel in new analytical procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- →You will supervise testing for acquisition programs, as well as testing potential COTS systems, other subsystems and processes.
Requirements
