About the Role
The position is located at the VA Health Resource Center (HRC). The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of the HRC Director and works closely with the Director, Deputy Director, and Administrative Officer providing a broad range of administrative services.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Develops written correspondence, reports, and presentations that communicate clear, actionable recommendations to leadership based on research, analysis, and evaluation.
- →Organizes and prioritizes work by setting goals, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- →Communicates information effectively to individuals and groups by tailoring messages to the audience, presenting findings clearly, and actively listening to support leadership decision-making.
- →Provides advice and direct support to the HRC Director, Deputy Director, and Administrative Officer by executing and overseeing tasks and projects related to HRC operations, compliance, reporting, risk, business initiatives, and leadership priorities.
- →Maintains confidentiality, conducts research and follow-up on team matters, assists with special projects, and facilitates meetings, briefings, and coordination activities.
- →Serves as the HRC ePerformance liaison by maintaining accurate organizational data, ensuring all positions have assigned performance plans monitored throughout the performance appraisal cycle, managing the HRC Director's Office administrative library, and assisting management with creating, updating, and closing plans to meet required milestones and deadlines.
- →Coordinates and supports employee survey and engagement initiatives by analyzing organizational climate indicators, organizing and maintaining accurate organizational information, facilitating communication channels with leadership and staff, and tracking the implementation and completion of engagement and improvement activities across HRC teams.
- →Supports employee engagement efforts year-round by monitoring engagement indicators, gathering feedback, identifying barriers, and assisting teams in implementing engagement-focused improvements.
- →Collects, interprets, and summarizes qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and support informed decision-making by leadership.
- →Designs, develops, and delivers written correspondence and reports as well as oral presentations to provide leadership with clear, useful findings and recommendations based on research, analysis, and evaluations.
