Primary purpose of this position is to provide planning, direction, organization, & exercise control in support of mission requirements. To maintain, employ, and direct the operations to provide realistic world-wide distributed and interactive exercise support for EUCOM, AFRICOM, CENTCOM, NATO AIRCOM and Partner Nations and training to warfighters throughout USAFE-AFAFRICA. Assignment involves problems and issues which specifically require. To lead the members of the operation division for 5CTS.
What You'll Do
- →Duties: Serves as Deputy Chief of Exercise Operations and Exercise Director to USAFE/A3/10, Commander of the Warfare Center, and 5th Combat Training Squadron.
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of exercise and training operations from the strategic to tactical level, ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Represents UAWC and 5 CTS with a variety of AF and interested organizations at meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, simulation model tests, capabilities working groups, and conferences.
- →Balances the interest of a variety of clients, both internal and external to the organization, the AF, DoD, and outside agencies to achieve mission goals and objectives.
