About the Role

The Management and Program Analyst is a member of the Front Office staff in the Veterans Benefits Administration's (VBA) Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO). MDEO administers the world-wide disability compensation examination program and is responsible for helping Veterans complete, timely and accurate examinations to support adjudication of their disability claims for service-connected disabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Specific duties include: Planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with each division within MDEO to ensure effective communication among business and technical authorities.
  • Is open to change and new information; adapts behavior and work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles; effectively deals with pressure and ambiguity.
  • Knows the organization's mission and functions, and how its social, political, and technological systems work and operates effectively within them; this includes the programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the organization.

  • The grade progression for this position is GS-14.
  • Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: AD HOC may be available as determined by agency policy.

Requirements
