What You'll Do
- →The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
- →If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
- →The incumbent assists management in formulating internal labor policies consistent with labor-management laws and regulations and actively participates in meetings on labor relations problems, collective bargaining negotiations, grievance responses, and answers to charges of unfair labor practices or creates, establishes, or prescribes labor-management relations policies.
- →Performs extensive operational reviews, prepares comprehensive program analyses/evaluations and provides guidelines pertaining to the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
- →Recommends program staffing; develops changes in methods, procedures and techniques to improve baseline measures; and conducts studies of employee/organizational efficiency and productivity and recommends changes in improvements in organization, staffing, work methods procedures.
- →Plans, coordinates and establishes operating methods and procedures for accomplishment of project mission, and as needed, directs the development and accomplishment of employee training relating to the project.
- →May act as a senior analyst providing guidance and assistance to lower graded specialists and may also serve as a project manager responsible for accomplishing various analytical studies and/or projects to resolve substantive problems or improve effectiveness and efficiency of operating line or administrative support programs.

Requirements
- ✓Probationary Period - A person who is required to go through a probationary period and then is transferred, promoted, demoted, or reassigned before he or she completes such period is required to complete the remainder of the probationary period in the new position.
