Serve as a Management and Program Analyst
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent will serve as a program analyst and/or advisor to managers on the evaluation of effectiveness of government programs and operations and/or the productivity and efficiency of such programs.
- →Positions require knowledge of the agency mission, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- →Some positions may require an understanding of basic budgetary and financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives.
- →The work requires skill in fact finding and investigative techniques; communications; and development of presentations and reports.
Requirements

- ✓For the F Band: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university or, a combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
- ✓Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/standards/group-stds/Gs-admin.asp for more information OR Combination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.
- ✓For the G Band: Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in an accredited college or university.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
