Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Division. - →The Major Duties for this position are listed below but not limited to: Providing analytical tools and methodology to comprehensive knowledge of management issues and programs for the development and/or implementation of laws, policies and regulations.
- →Organizing and coordinating thorough, systematic, professional efforts to meet the complex planning needs and unanticipated requirements and to provide written and oral reports with conclusions, alternatives, and recommendations on national policies, projects, or studies.
- →Planning, organizing, and directing team/task force efforts across organizational lines, including the ability to monitor progress to ensure the realistic objectives and milestones are established, to clearly assign responsibilities, and to accomplish mission requirements in a timely manner.
- →Communicating both orally and in writing effectively and the ability to grasp conceptual ideas and exercise original thought where there is an established time limit for deliberation, consultation, and evaluation, and to present well-considered and sound suggestions.
