Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operation, Buffalo Field Office, located in Buffalo, NY. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →The primary purpose of the position is to serve as an analyst and/or program advisor to management on various functions and activities requiring application of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment of management processes, systems and mission support programs.

- →Duties may include: Providing technical assistance and direct support to field office and port staff in a variety of matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs.
- →Assisting senior analysts in implementing, coordinating, and/or overseeing a variety of program activities affecting CBP.
- →Providing advice to supervisors and managers and develops, recommends, and/or evaluates policies in assigned areas of responsibility.
- →Planning, developing and coordinating with planning management and assisting in the design and implementation of planning and controls for submission and tracking of data.
- →Coordinating and overseeing identification, analysis, and issuance of policies and identifying potential applicability and effect of new or proposed directives and other agency decisions on respective operations, managerial programs, and requirements.
