About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of International Affairs, located in Washington DC. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • This position starts at a salary of $143,913.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $187,093.00 (GS-14, Step 10) Typical duties include: Actively manage and coordinate INA's governance boards and structures, ensuring effective oversight, alignment with strategic objectives, and timely communication and decision-making across the organization.
  • Serving as a senior analyst and advisor to INA/CBP leadership on major mission and administrative programs, providing authoritative guidance on policies, operations, and resource needs.
  • Planning, leading, and conducting complex qualitative and quantitative studies to assess and improve program effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, procedures, directives, and management information systems supporting strategic planning, performance measurement, and budget/resource decisions.
  • Representing INA/CBP in meetings and briefings with DHS components, OMB, GAO, Congressional staff, and other stakeholders, preparing and delivering executive-level briefings and analyses.

Requirements
