Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters, Program Management Operations Directorate in Washington, D.C. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In this position, you will conduct complex reviews and management analysis across all areas of administrative resources to support executive management decisions.
- →The analysis and recommendations provided directly influence workforce management policies and decisions, impacting the operational effectiveness and ability to accomplish a wide range of agency activities within the U.S.
- →Border Patrol.
- →This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
- →As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing major administrative programs and projects for the U.S.
- →Border Patrol.
- →Typical duties will include: Providing comprehensive administrative management advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices.
- →Performing complex studies evaluating the interrelationships of assigned programs and recommending substantive changes to achieve program objectives.
- →Representing the directorate's interests in sensitive management, support issues, including performance management and awards processing.
- →Facilitating the effective filling of vacancies by coordinating with offices and Human Resources Management (HRM) to develop and implement long-range hiring plans.
- →Conducting studies and analyses of workforce requirements and advise leadership on hiring plan progress and employment levels.
