Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations (OFO), National Targeting Center (NTC) in Sterling, VA. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →Joining Customs & Border Protection will allow you to use your expertise to analyze and advise management on a wide range of program activities which will impact the total Customs Agency.
- →This position starts at a salary of $102,415.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10) with promotion potential to $158,322 (GS-13 Step 10).
- →Apply for this exciting opportunity to strengthen the Department's ability to perform homeland security functions by developing policies, conducting special studies, and providing technical assistance.
- →In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key member of a team of professionals managing a variety of diverse programs and/or services of the organization including financial requirements management.
- →Typical work assignments include: Assisting in developing detailed plans, goals, and objectives for implementation of organizational programs, and/or developing criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of same.
- →Assisting with analyzing and implementing organizational requirements that impact a substantial part of program support.
- →Supporting the development of new methods and techniques in budget formulation for the forecasting of short and long-range funding needs for the organization.
- →Providing information, alternatives and recommendations on current and long-range organizational plans pertaining to management and administrative procedures, operations program and financial management.
- →Assisting with procurement processes for the organization pertaining to service, supply, and labor acquisitions as well as purchase card requests.

Requirements
