The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Chief of the Commander's Action Group for HQ Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) in providing executive support in the planning and execution of the daily operation of the Commander (CC), Deputy Commander (CD), Vice Commander (CV), and Executive Director.
What You'll Do
- →Identifies and analyzes key issues, collects data to present to Commander and senior leadership on recommended courses of action on a broad variety of topics related to MAJCOM, NAF, FOA or DRU.
- →Serves as Project Officer for Commander directed initiatives and special interest items.
- →Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments as requested.
- →Coordinates review of higher level taskings, identifies best course of action, potential problems, and directs and tasks the HQs Staff and subordinate Recruiting Groups and Recruiting Squadrons on behalf of the Commander for HQ Air Force Recruiting Service response.
- →Prepares and delivers slide presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
- →Serves as Defense Travel System (DTS) reviewer or approver for AFRS Executive Staff.
- →Analyzes official travel requests inputted in DTS.
