The Management Analyst serves as a member of the Director's Staff for the Department of Veterans Affairs, St. Petersburg Regional Office. The employee is an active participant in all aspects of station management and primary responsibilities encompass duties include but are not limited to, developing recommendations for program officials and supervisors and strives to have viable recommendations accepted by operating components.
What You'll Do
- →Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Develop recommendations for program officials and supervisors and strives to have viable recommendations accepted by operating components.
- →Recommendations include development of new or modified work methods.
- →Procedural changes, systems variations, and acceptance of new technology developments.
- →Develop recommendations for improvements in administrative operations and to promote efficiency and cost savings.
- →Advises management of unique conditions and issues which affect administrative activities and provides guidance on interpretation and implementation of new and revised legislation, policies, regulations and procedures.
- →Establish study methods and techniques to be utilized in substantive program studies and audits and interprets findings resulting from studies that are independently developed.
- →Promotion Potential: Promotion potential to the GS-12.
- →The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Available.
- →Telework: Ad hoc telework may be authorized as determined by the agency policy.

Requirements
