You will serve as the Limited Duty (LIMDU) and Disability Evaluation System (DES) Program Manager for Personnel Plans and Policy (N14) on the headquarters staff of Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic, Norfolk, VA.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for personnel planning, oversight, and management of LIMDU/Transient personnel to ensure that these Sailors are fully integrated into assigned commands.
- →You will lead, plan, coordinate, and execute strategic actions supporting the integration of LIMDU/Transient personnel distribution solutions throughout COMSUBLANT and its subordinate commands and manage LIMDU/Transient personnel manning actions.
- →You will plan and conduct comprehensive in-depth analysis, reviews, and assessments of Submarine Force LIMDU/Transient personnel distribution.
- →You will interact and coordinate daily with the three COMSUBLANT civilian SRS Limited Duty (LIMDU) / Transient Personnel Program Managers and ensure that personnel are following and adhering to instructions and guidance set forth by leadership.
- →You will be responsible to attend all required training and certifications as set forth by the local Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC).
- →You will conduct research and special study projects to resolve problems, change procedures or evaluate concepts.
- →You will conduct analysis of LIMDU/Transient personnel and trend analysis to senior leadership along with recommendations for better management of LIMDU/Transient personnel to improve Command’s LIMDU/Transient personnel management.
- →You will develop and recommend changes to local LIMDU and Transient personnel policy and guidance as required.
- →You will interact daily in the manning distribution process for LIMDU and DES Sailors to ensure Sailors are fairly distributed throughout COMSUBLANT Shore commands.
- →You will be responsible to ensure accurate accounting, tracking, medical treatment, and expeditious movement of LIMDU personnel through the transient pipeline.
- →Finds and implements ways to eliminate or reduce bottlenecks.
