What You'll Do
- →Analyzes and maintains product lead times (total replenishment lead times) and devises procurement and production strategies that serve to reduce overall lead times.
- →Provides guidance to Contracting staff to ensure material contracts are written in such a manner as to support manufacturing.
- →Researches and develops benchmarking metrics for the contract management process.
- →Interfaces with the Product Support Center and Office Furniture Business Group (OFBG) factories to develop and maintain accurate Production, Standard and Engineered bills of materials and routings.
- →Compiles, analyzes and submits various reports extracted from SAP, spreadsheets and computer application programs.
- →Develops, distributes, collates and analyzes customer surveys designed to provide feedback on OFBG publications, catalogs, price lists, static website and online stores.
- →Develops milestones for completion of staff work which will meet the requirements of long-term operating goals.
- →Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution.
- →The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Requirements
