About the Position: Serves as key advisor and technical expert in maintenance management and asset management programs for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Analyzes data, evaluates program effectiveness, and develops recommendations to optimize performance and efficiency. Administer the Facility Equipment Maintenance (FEM) system, coordinate assessments, and provide technical guidance and support across the district. Also supervises a team of maintenance control technicians.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze maintenance data using the Facility Equipment Maintenance (FEM) system and other databases.
- →Identify trends, inefficiencies, and problems in maintenance operations.
- →Develop solutions and recommendations to improve maintenance processes and business practices.
- →Design dashboards and reports for management.
- →Serve as the District Asset Manager and subject matter expert.
- →Ensure standardization and consistency of FEM processes across projects.
- →Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training.
- →Act as liaison with higher headquarters and the FEM National Support Center.
- →Direct and coordinate OCAs for various facilities (Flood Risk Management, Navigation, Hydropower).
- →Ensure assessments are unbiased, repeatable, and meet policy requirements.
- →Schedule and execute special assessments after significant events.
- →Plan, assign, and evaluate work of subordinates.
- →Manage personnel actions, training, and team assignments.
