This vacancy is for a Management Analyst in the Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of Solutions & Service Delivery (OSSD) within the Department of Commerce.
What You'll Do
- →Ensures acquisition packages comply with departmental policies, procurement regulations, and IT governance requirements.
- →Administers and manages active contracts throughout the period of performance to ensure contractor adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and performance standards.
- →Tracks financial burn rates using spreadsheets or other tools; prepares supporting documentation for contract modifications; drafts purchase requests; and monitors funding levels.
- →Reviews, verifies, and approves contractor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely submission for payment.
- →Maintains contract files in accordance with federal, departmental, and OCIO-specific recordkeeping policies.
- →Provides general administrative support to the OCIO, including assisting OSSD with routine operational tasks such as coordinating documentation, maintaining trackers, managing routine communications, and supporting timecard-related processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- →This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Management Analyst GS-0343-11, FPL GS-11 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
Requirements
