About the Role

This vacancy is for a Management Analyst in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.

What You'll Do

  • As a Management Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Manage meeting coordination, prepares draft agendas, schedules routine logistics, and gathers basic technical requirements to support meeting IT needs.
  • Supports coordination efforts by tracking tasks, following up on routine items, and preparing status updates; assists in implementing established processes.
  • Serves as the Timekeeper for the Office of Policy and Business Management (OPBM).
  • Perform preliminary review and testing of collaboration tools; identifies routine issues; gathers background information; drafts initial materials; prepares basic observations for review by senior staff.
  • Conducts property management by helping track equipment, verify inventory, and prepare documentation; supports procurement and collection processes under guidance.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating administrative policies by collecting data, identifying routine issues, and preparing draft revisions for supervisory review.
  • Collects data, organizes information, and performs basic analysis to assist in effectiveness assessments; drafts preliminary summaries This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Management Analyst GS-0343-9, FPL-GS-11 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

Requirements
