About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Management Analyst in the Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAF) Civilian Personnel Division advising the Directorate on Civilian Manpower and Human Resources (HR) management.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as an advisor to the directorate on civilian manpower and human resources (HR) management.
- →Manages and definitively interprets regulatory, policy, and other applicable guidance on all civilian personnel actions, position management, and classification.
- →Utilizes the Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) and Automated Time, Attendance, and Production System (ATAAPS) to oversee timely and accurate payment of civilian employee wages; serves as the alternate/backup for timekeeping.
- →Develops plans and policy to achieve the maximum efficiency level of processing personnel actions.
- →Reviews and analyzes the organization personnel policy, hiring practices, and disciplinary procedures, developing and recommending proposed changes, additions, and improvements.
- →Completes and reviews numerous reports and analyzes trends, timeliness, and status of actions.
- →Prepares status reports, implements plans to improve efficiency of processing actions, and recommends solutions to eliminate recurrence of unfavorable conditions.
- →Tracks all aspects of the onboarding process, to include medical, passport, security, and order writing.
- →Manages the Civilian Education Systems (CES) program and provides oversight of CES program policy and requirements.
- →Serves as a civilian education advocate responsible for the monitoring, socializing, and tracking of a variety of academic programs for technical and educational training of civilian employees.
