About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with the Personnel, Manpower & Admin Directorate, J1. What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Manpower Analyst in the areas of Manpower and Force structure as well as the assistant to the Chief of Manpower and Organization.
- →Assist in review of requests for manpower and force structure actions involving civilian personnel, enlisted personnel, and Interagency personnel.
- →Compile written justification recommending approval/disapproval of organizational actions.
- →Appraise all manpower and reorganization requests for compliance with regulatory and policy guidance.
- →Review Joint Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) to ensure the proper grade/rank, authority lines and financial grouping is reflected.
