This position is located in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs (PM), Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), Office of Defense Trade Controls Management (DTCM). The PM bureau provides policy direction in the areas of international security, security assistance, military operations, defense strategy and policy, military use of space, and defense trade. What You'll Do
- →Develop evaluating criteria to conduct continuing reviews and evaluations of existing administrative, management, operational, and other related policies, and procedures of PM to improve processes and systems.
- →Analyze proposed updates to Department wide and Bureau specific policies, and draft responses to the proposed actions for review by leadership.
- →Establish and maintain relationships with key officials and agency stakeholders to communicate and disseminate information which results in an improved understanding of the Bureau's mission, policies, and activities.
- →Monitor the long-term strategic vision and focus on long-term goals and priorities, including the oversight of the strategy, resource, and learning cycle and identification and the development of new opportunities for innovative approaches.
- →Work with ISN PM AVC's Executive Office, the Acquisitions Management Office (AQM), and other appropriate U.S.
- →Government (USG) offices to advise the Bureau on what contract services, goods, and resources are needed to implement program activities.
