What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Center's expert on all records management matters, ensuring compliance with Department of War and General Accounting Office (GAO) regulations and policies.
- →Plans, develops, and maintains the records management program, including the development and review of official publications and disaster recovery plans.
- →Conducts management studies and surveys to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and economy of records management operations, including file organization, space utilization, and disposition.
- →Reviews and approves requests for records destruction, procures necessary equipment, and establishes and conducts records management training programs for supported activities.
- →This position may be required to lift up to 20 lbs. when handling physical records.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master's or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement.
- ✓Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
